| An easy tutorial to create a wooden text effect using Photoshop. |

| To Start off, create a new Photoshop document with a black background. Make some text, using the settings shown below, and 575757 for the color. |

| Rasterize the text, by right clicking on it in the layers panel, and choosing "rasterize layer". Aplly the noise filter (filter > noise > add noise), using the settings shown below. |
