Learn this tutorial and see how to create vertical flash menu in flash 8 using the Action Script. Step 1Create a new flash document, choose Modify > Document (Ctrl+J), and set Width to 450, and Height to 250px. Frame rate set to 33 fps (Frames per Second).
Step 2Double click on layer1 to rename its name in background. Insert a new layer and name it menu. After that, take the Rectangle Tool (R), click on Stroke color and choose No stroke, under Fill color set #A1958A, and draw a five "rectangle" 88,5x250 px which will represent a menu. See the picture below.
Step 3Take the Text Tool (T), under Fill Color set #FFFFFF, and for the first field in menu, type "home".
Step 4Then, choose Modify > Transform > Rotate 90° CW (Ctrl+Shift+9).
Step 5Select the first field and text ("home"), press F8 key (Convert to Symbol) and convert this field and text into a Movie Clip Symbol. See the picture below.

Step 6While the new made Movie Clip is still selected, open the Properties Panel (Ctrl+F3), and for
