pictures taken from cameras are saved in jpeg format, this kind of compression decrease the quality of your photos. Once imported in photo retouch programs save a copy in Tiff format more adapted to print.

Usb key modeling - page 1

The usb key that we'll create with 3d studio max

Step 1)
Open max, create a Sphere with
Radius: 0,6
Segments: 14

Step 2)
Right click the sphere and go Convert > Convert into editable poly
Click W, then F12 and set X Y and Z to 0 (see image)

Step 3)
Go Top viewport
Press 4 key (top part of your keyboard, not numpad!), this toogle on polygon sub-object mode.
Select the right part of your sphere, then hit Canc to delete those polygons.

Step 4)
Go to Perspective viewport
Press 3 to select border sub-object mode, and then select the border of your hemi-sphere.

Step 5)
Without loosing the selection, press W key and holding down Shift move your border to X axis
with a value of 1,5
