i really love that heart ..
its amazing .. =D*
Good job .. =)*
This REALLY helped me SO much! Thank you! The heart is very nice, but mostly I learned so many new things in illustrator!
Oh.. and you did a VERY nice job with the screen captures and the arrows pointing to the objects and tools. That really helps. Your tutorials are very easy to understand!
how do i fill a new print document with all black color? in photoshop you just use paint bucket with illustrator ?
I’ve just created a rectangle filled with black on a basic layer and locked it.
If you want an all black document just create a black rectangle as big (or bigger) as your document.
Hey, I’m looking for some help with drawing the heart. This is my result.

Hopefully someone can help me, thanks anyway:)
First of all you should take confidence with the Pen Tool. Try to draw simple logos and drawings by tracing. In this case you should try this way:
enable the Smart Guides as I said in the tutorial. The start from the right limit of the circle with the first point. Holding shift (to make a perpendicular line) place the second point down, then release SHIFT key and place the third point on the left side of the circle and keeping clicked drag the bezier handle to make the curve. Then click on the first point to close the path. Finish :). Email me at rubens (at) koikumi.com if you still have problems.
