| First of all, make a new Photoshop document, with dimensions of 260x190 and a black background. Use the elliptical marquee tool to create a grey small oval on a new layer. |

| Zoom in to 700% and use the rectangular marquee tool to cut (layer via cut) the oval |

| Delete the layer containing the sides |

| Make a selection using the shape (select > load selection), and contract it by 4 pixels. Delete the selected area, creating a ring like shape. |

| Use the rectangular marquee tool to create a rectangle (a) and create 2 smaller blocks at either end of the rectangle. |
