Create a red striped button with a modern look

1. Create a 150x50 new project and fill( ) it with the color #690F0F.What you did so far should look like this:

2. Press B and select Pencil brush( ) and draw a vertical line with a relative thickness, depending on the size of your button. Make sure you make it so there wouldn't be more than 4-5 lines with spacing between them.

3. After doing so press CTRL+T to open Free Transform. Holding shift rotate it by the corners to a 45 degree. It now looks like this:

4. Now stretch it till you obtain a continously line and duplicate the layer a few times but leave a spacing between the lines. What you did so far looks like this:

5. Create a new layer by holding CTRL+SHIFT+N (this will be the top layer for now) and draw a half gradient from top to bottom using #861313. It will now look like this:

6. Create a new layer and repeat the procedure from 5 but with a different color( #9BC200 ) and set the layer to Linear Burn. After doing that make a new layer and use the Rectangular Marquee Tool and select the top half of the layer. Having this selected make a half gradient like this:







Set the layer opacity for this layer to 25%:

7. Make a new layer and draw a black gradient from left to right(starting from the left till the middle of the button) and set the layer opacity to 70%. After doing that right click on the layer and duplicate it. Go to Edit - Transform - Flip Horizontal and drag the layer till the right to make it simetrical to the one on the left. It should now look like this:





The button is complete. You can also smooth the button with 5 pixels and it will have a better look:
