Learn a Chessboard 3d illustrator technique

Cool adobe illustrator tutorial to draw a Chessboard.

[1]-First of all click on file > new

[2]-Open new docoment name :untitled-1 , size :Letter , unit : Point

width:612pt , height :792pt
colour mode : CMYK click OK

[3]- Now you will see the Illustrator window is open

[4]-Now click on tool palette and create the rectangle use the following setting

[5]-Now double click on fill in the tool palette and select the black color now your image should be like this

[7]-And now rotate your object

[9]-Crete another rectangle but the new rectangle size is smaller then compare recent rectangle
Now the color of new rectangle is white and now simple drag the small rectangle and drop on big rectangle

[10]-Similary you create four rectangle & similarly drag and drop on big rectangle

[11]-And now then click on pen tool in the tool palette

[12]-In the bottom tool palette color : white , stroke : black

see in bottom of tool palette

[13]-Now create the following shape like this with the help of pen tool

[14]-And now click on window > graphic style libraries >3d effect

[15]-You will see 3d palette open & (3d effect 23) drag and drop on shape

[16]-After applying this effect you will see your shape convert into 3d object

[17]-And then wants two copies simple (ctrl+ c ) and (ctrl+v)

[18]-Click on object > transform > reflect

[19]-See in reflect palette use the following setting

[20]-Now finally both object drag and drop on rectangle
and now you will see final image is ready
